This plan is designed for anyone traveling outside their home country for undetermined or extended periods of time.  Global Underwriters' Diplomat International & Long Term plans do not exclude illnesses or injuries related to terrorism or a terrorist act. In order to be covered in countries where there are open hostilities, such as Ukraine, a member must not be engaged in hostile or combative activities. 

The Voyager Series from GeoBlue does NOT have any specific country exclusions; but is also only available to US citizens or legal US residents traveling outside the USA for up to 180 days of coverage per trip.  As the Diplomat Series, it also covers the basics of accident and sickness medical insurance including some limited AD&D life insurance.  Acts of terrorism are also not excluded.  Diplomat Long Term would be the program to review, should you be taking a longer excursion abroad of say 6 months or longer, as the Diplomat Long Term is a longer term policy type.
